5 Stars Loved this book!
Patti Starr holds her readers’attention with fascinating stories about ghosts and spirits. Her instructions about the procedures of ghost hunting are given in an easy-to-understand fashion. This book is a must-read for anyone interested in the paranormal!!!
5 Stars Informative and Entertaining
I saw Patti Starr speak recently, and was impressed with how she presented her work in a straightforward manner, telling the audience that ghosthunting — though fascinating — was, in reality, boring and tedious at times; that it was not a matter of going into a “haunted” house and expecting a ghost to jump out and say “Boo!” Like Troy Taylor (who stated that 90% of the places he is asked to investigate for haunts turn out to be false), she kept her audience entertained and informed. This is a good book to read whether or not you believe in ghosts.
5 Stars Kudos from a Professional Psychic and Medium
Patti Starr’s book is a “must have” for anyone who has an interest in paranormal research and ghost hunting. Patti presents her information in an easy to comprehend manner that is simple for a novice ghost hunter to follow, yet not too elementary for an experienced investigator’s benefit.
I am a professional psychic and medium who has had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Starr and accompanying her on several investigations. She is a complete professional who takes what she does very seriously; a person of great integrity and yet she is also very charming and approachable.
The book provides step-by-step guidance on how to conduct a ghost hunt and also gives many examples of the findings that Patti and her investigative team have uncovered.
I sincerely recommend that anyone who has a serious interest in the paranormal should add this book to his / her library!

Should be titled “Bad Photography by Pseudoscientists”. The supposed ghosts are rather boring. Most are just tiny circles (so-called “orbs”) on photographs. The logic of claiming these supposed objects are paranormal in origin is lacking. They certainly look like bad photography under poor lighting to most people. Why are they ghosts? Why not Martians, Elvis, or the Boogey Man? Why not reflections in the lens or some other camera defect? Why are so many of the orbs in dark, dusty, or damp places with poor natural lighting?
Even more amusing than the orb photos are the pink, oblong blobs on some photos. Someone is photographing their own finger.
Another amusing claim is that dowsing rods are useful in finding places to photograph ghosts (take bad photos). Why not crystals, astrology, or tarot cards? Let’s mix in as many pseudosciences as possible since the public’s IQ is obviously plunging.
