Ghost Hunting Papers

In Florida, can you carry a registered shotgun, but with no papers?

In the state of Florida, if you purchase a shotgun, can you carry it around, outside the home, LEGALLY, but without any papers showing any proof of ownership or regristration?
My boyfriend and some friends went to a cemetary in the middle of nowhere to go ghost hunting,(the cemetary is supposed to be haunted), anyways, he had his shotgun, purchased by and registered to him in his name, in a guitar case, but he didnt have any papers with him to show proof of ownership, and I was wondering if that is completly legal?

No, you don’t need to carry around papers (of any kind), though it is illegal to have a concealed weapon without a permit. A better choice (if you must take it at all) would be to just carry it by itself or in a gun case.

You should also know that if somebody sees it and is “concerned”, “scared”, or “worried”, or if they complain in general
to the police, the police will arrest you (whoever was holding the shotgun) for “brandishing a weapon”

Also, you must consider the following questions and determine if you should use a firearm. And if you do choose to, you need to accept the consequences.

Would the pellets/slugs harm the ghost?

Are you expecting to scare the ghost by waving a shotgun at it?

If you were to shoot at the ghost is there any chance that you could hit something/someone unintentionally?

Personally, I wouldn’t use a shotgun against a ghost. I’d use a Bible and some crosses.
