Why am I so Fascinated by Ghost Hunting?

I have asked myself that question many times.  I  honestly have to say that I don’t know the answer.  Since I was about ten, I have been fascinated by ghosts, hauntings and other paranormal stuff. 
 At that age, I didn’t have a clue about trying to capture paranormal phenomena on film or recording EVP’s.  I just knew that something about ghosts and haunted places really sparked my interest. 
Now that I’m grown and understand that it’s possible to photograph, record and otherwise capture evidence of the paranormal, I am all the more fascinated.  I …

My Ghost Hunting Adventures at the Pensacola Lighthouse

A few of my family members and I went ghosthunting at the Pensacola Lighthouse recently.  We were guided by the Ghost Seekers of Texas, a ghosthunting group from San Antonio. 
We got to go through nearly the entire place (except for the tower itself) and used a variety of tools to see if we could capture anything paranormal.  Our group didn’t capture anything on video or digital recorder, but we did get some fluctuations on our EMF detector down in the basement as we were asking questions.

The most common type of haunting is a residual haunting. A residual haunting can be described as an image that has been recorded in time and played back in a continuous loop over and over again through the years.
